Terms of Service
Last updated: 4 October 2026
These terms apply when you use Calc-X, the app and website operated by Dinu Daniel, Kerala, India ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using Calc-X you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy.
What Calc-X is
Calc-X helps you track spending, bills, card dues, budgets, goals, investments and family money in one place. It is a record-keeping and planning tool. It does not hold your money, make payments, or give access to your bank.
Not financial advice
Safe to Spend, reports, insights and the Finlo assistant are calculations and suggestions based on the information you provide. They are not financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Please check important decisions with a qualified adviser.
Accuracy
Transactions added from bank SMS, UPI notifications, statements or investment connections are read automatically and may sometimes be missed, duplicated or read incorrectly. Please review them; your bank and broker statements are the official record.
Your account
- You must be 18 or older and give accurate sign-up details.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Only add people to your family who agree to share with you, and only import data that is yours or that you are allowed to use.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse Calc-X: no attempts to access other people's data, disrupt the service, reverse-engineer it to harm others, or use it for anything unlawful.
Availability and changes
Calc-X is offered as it is and may change as we improve it. We may add, change or remove features, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. If we introduce paid features, we will tell you before you are charged.
Ending your account
You can stop using Calc-X at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@calc-x.in. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from decisions made using Calc-X, from incorrect or missing automatically imported data, or from services run by others (such as banks, brokers or sign-in providers). Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Indian consumer law.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Kerala have jurisdiction.
